Renee is an executive leader with extensive experience across strategy, business development, marketing, communications, advocacy, and digital.

Over the past 20 years, Renee has held CEO, executive and management roles across the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Renee’s passion is working with organisations focused on equality and social justice for vulnerable people in the community, especially women, children and young people.


Her deep understanding of complex barriers experienced by vulnerable cohorts is invaluable in co-designing and developing new programs and services. Renee’s work in government relations has secured millions in funding and resourcing to expand programs providing critical services to people experiencing disadvantage.


Renee’s corporate sector experience includes developing corporate social responsibility strategies and community partnerships with some of Australia’s leading businesses including ANZ, NAB, The Good Guys, Suncorp and Optus.


A strong marketer, Renee uses storytelling to create compelling narratives that capture people’s hearts and minds. She has a strong background in public relations, having worked on major communication campaigns across the government, community and corporate sectors.


Renee is a freelance, independent consultant providing strategic communications, advocacy, government relations, program design and grant and tender writing services to not-for-profit and for purpose organisations.


Her governance experience includes Director at YMCA Victoria, Director at Westgate Community Initiatives Group (WCIG) and three years as Chair of one of Victoria’s most successful community centres, Wingate Avenue Community Centre.
